Akansha Vaswani-Bye, PhD, is an acting assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington (UW). She began her work with families impacted by developmental disabilities in Mumbai, where she grew up. She is currently the lead trainer for the Psychosis REACH Family Ambassador training programme in the SPIRIT lab at UW.
