Cristhian A Martínez is a PhD candidate at the department of Experimental and Applied Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on understanding how people respond to transgressions in the social and political spheres from their value and belief systems. He incorporates in his work different insights and methods from developmental, social and political psychology, as well as from emotion research.
