Helen De Cruz (1978-2025) was professor of philosophy and Danforth Chair in the humanities at Saint Louis University in Missouri. Her books include Religious Disagreement (Cambridge University Press, 2019), Philosophy Illustrated: 42 Thought Experiments to Broaden Your Mind (Oxford University Press, 2022) and Wonderstruck: How Awe and Wonder Shape the Way We Think (Princeton University Press, 2024).
