James McConnachie is a British journalist, author and editor. His writing has appeared in The Sunday Times, The Times Literary Supplement and New Scientist, among others, and he edits The Author, the journal of the Society of Authors. His books include Conspiracy Theories (2005) and The Book of Love (2007), and he is currently working on a biography of a mountain, to be published by Bloomsbury.
