Joanna Ebenstein is the founder and creative director of Morbid Anatomy. An internationally recognised death expert, her books include Memento Mori: The Art of Contemplating Death to Live a Better Life (2024), Anatomica: The Exquisite and Unsettling Art of Human Anatomy (2020) and Death: A Graveside Companion (2017). She is also an awardwinning curator, photographer and graphic designer. She lives in Mexico.
