Frank Gonzalez-Crussi is professor emeritus of pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He is the author of many books on medicine and the body, including Notes of an Anatomist (1985), A Short History of Medicine (2007) and The Body Fantastic (2021).
