Lily Verity is a PhD student in psychology for education at the University of Manchester. Her research interests focus on mental health in young people. She uses qualitative methods to investigate young people’s experiences of loneliness, the contexts of youth that give rise to loneliness, and strategies that young people consider useful for overcoming loneliness.
