Rafael Schacter is associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at University College London and head of the Material, Visual and Digital Culture subsection. He is the author of Street to Studio (2018), Ornament and Order (2014) and The World Atlas of Street Art and Graffiti (2013). His latest book is Monumental Graffiti: Tracing Public Art and Resistance in the City (2024).
