I worked with dogs for 30 years. Now I write about them — and other creatures. My work is part personal narrative, and part science, medicine, and the things no one likes to talk about: the greenwashed, the spins, and the stains beneath the polish. There’s a happy ending here and there, the occasional hero’s journey, and sometimes an anonymous whistleblower.
