Morgan Shipley is the Inaugural Foglio Endowed Chair of Spirituality and associate professor of religious studies at Michigan State University. His research and teaching focus on secular spirituality and spiritual wellbeing. He is the author of Psychedelic Mysticism: Transforming Consciousness, Religious Experiences, and Voluntary Peasants in Postwar America (2015).
