Noga Arikha is a philosopher and historian of ideas. She is a senior expert at the Florence School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. She is the author of Passions and Tempers: A History of the Humours (2007), The Ceiling Outside: The Science and Experience of the Disrupted Mind (2022) and Franz Boas: In Praise of Open Minds (2025).
