Rebecca Böhme is an assistant professor at the Center for Social and Affective Neuroscience in Linköping, Sweden. She studies how social touch contributes to the perception of our bodily self and our ability to distinguish between self and other. She is the author of the German-language popular science books Human Touch (2019) and Resilienz (2019).
