Edward L Greenstein is professor emeritus of biblical studies at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He is a 2020 recipient of the EMET Prize, ‘Israel’s Nobel’. His Job: A New Translation (Yale University Press, 2019) was a best book in religion of the Library Journal and was awarded a prize by the Association for Jewish Studies.
