Zanna Clay

Zanna Clay is professor of psychology at Durham University in the UK, where she leads the Comparative Cognition and Cross-Cultural Development Lab. She studies young children, as well as primates, to investigate the evolution and development of empathy, social cognition and language. She is currently leading a large-scale study looking at how empathy develops across cultures and species. She is a fellow of the Linnean Society of London.
