Trine Syvertsen is professor of media studies at the University of Oslo in Norway. She is the author of Media Resistance: Protest, Dislike, Abstention (open access, Palgrave, 2017) and Digital Detox: The Politics of Disconnecting (Emerald, 2020), and co-author of The Media Welfare State: Nordic Media in the Digital Era (University of Michigan Press, 2014).
